Developing the Strategy

 

Once we have determined where you are, we can then determine where you want to go and how to get you there.

We do this by developing the Savants Strategic Marketing Plan. Together we determine a set of objectives, each accompanied by a strategy, and tactics to help execute the strategy and achieve the objective. This is not a plan we create and then hand down to you from an ivory tower. This is a plan developed from your input in the Marketing
Savants Inventory™ and our follow-up research. More importantly, it is also based on a budget. Everyone has a budget, and we are committed to helping you stay within that budget.

The strategic marketing plan spells out, month-by-month, activities and expenditures. You know what is going on, how much it will cost, and when it should happen. It is a flexible plan, though. We realize that market conditions change and unforeseen opportunities arise. That is why we factor in reserve dollars to take advantage of these situations.

What Yogi is saying is that you need a strategy.

The first thing we ask our clients — insist
is that they allow us to help them define a strategy. Where do we want to go? How are we going to get there? Where do we start? A well defined marketing strategy means that every dollar has a strategic purpose.
